Wood Beaver Firewood Processors STINK!
I just had to let people know of a company not to use for wood processors. We paid $30,000 for a hunk of junk. Do not buy.
Since we have owned this machine, the machine has not worked properly. I have had to have my neighbor weld parts for it, swap parts out, and tinker with this continually. I have taken the machine back to the manufacturer three times. One time they charged me for a chain and still couldn't make it work.
The last straw was October 12, 2015. The technician was an hour and fifteen minutes late for his appointment. The technician swapped the crossover valve out. It didn't fix the problem. The gentleman said he would be back on October 15. After his repairs, the machine is totally unusable. He told me that by October 22, he would have the part and come out and fix the machine.
As of November 4, I haven't seen the technician. Yesterday I called the technician. Dave the service department head said he sent the parts out. I reminded him that he was going to put the part on and that he was going to do this on October 15. I never received parts. He said he would install them by Friday.
I called the office and stated my concern. I asked to have someone call me back. I was told I would get a call back within the day. They never called back.
I called today. I talked to the reception to ask what the deal was. She said I did talk to Dave. I let her know that I talked to Dave before I called her and I told her the times I called. She then put me on with Brendan the Assistant General Manager. He said he would research and get back to me.
He called me back and stated the machine is getting picked up today and should be back working today. I will keep you posted.

ABC Kortsch Moving and AdWords
I have been working with ABC Kortsch Moving for awhile now. I like how nice the people are and how happy the customers are. It is nice, because I can pick and choose who I work with. They asked about internet advertising. I gave them some ideas, but they settled on Google Adwords with me in charge.
Here is their web site: http://kortschmoving.com

I have been working on the keyword list. As I did, I see a competitor that has purchased "Kortsch Moving" "ABC Kortsch Moving" "ABC Moving". It turns out, it is a competitor that has been sued in the past for using the Kortsch name.
I have created my super secret keyword list. I have implemented the set daily amount to spend. Now I am trying to improve the general google ranking of the site. I added it to my blog.
I suppose that I should float a ABC Kortsch Moving Blog, ABC Kortsch Moving Facebook, and an ABC Kortsch Moving Twitter Account. What do you all think?

Limo Service in West Bend Wisconsin
I took a limo to the packer game this fall. I have no regrets. It was so nice to get dropped off at the stadium and picked up at the stadium. The driver took us to some bars on the way home.
I am just getting picked up at the farmhouse.
I used Phase 1 Limo. Their phone number is (262) 675 - 2610. Our driver's name was Rick. Great guy. Here is their website.

Saw an Eagle Today
Living by the river, there are all types of critters that pass through. Deer, squirrels, rabbits, and turkeys pass by the house on a regular basis. But I normally do not see an eagle. I had seen him once before in the woods, but never from the house. I will take it as the area becoming healthier.

Perma-Culture = Permanent Agriculture
I have taken an interest in Permaculture. It happened slowly. First it was a share with a Community Sponsored Agriculture(CSA). Then I wanted to eat healthier. I try to buy local food. Now I see a system that is sustainable and healthy.
I have edible food plants at my biz and harvesting berries around my house. I am sampling the concept. I am kinda into Permaculture.
I follow a group on Facebook[link ], Google+(Circle and a spark)[email: permacultureideas@gmail.com], and Twitter[@MotherEarthNews ]. The local nature center(Riveredge)[ link ] has a sample plot. I am sharing some fields with A CSA(Wellspring)[ link ]. I interact with a local master gardener regularly[ link ]. I have gotten plants locally.
I watched part of a video course on-line. It was discussing ethic and the environment. It got me thinking:
The current agricultural system is not sustainable. Food I plant/harvest/buy locally is much tastier/healthier. I feel the current system of food delivery is too dependent on systems out of my control. The grocery store food chain is dependent on deliveries every three days. Regular grocery store food is not as healthy.
I want to support healthy agriculture. I want the land to receive nutrient, have the topsoil protected, and grow food. I want to take an active roll in my food chain.
Goals (Work in Progress)
Improve my land stewardship.
Purchase 10% locally.
Decrease dependency on large corporations.
Get healthier.
Thoughts?
